30: Too Busy to Read to Your Kids Consistently? STOP Doing These 3 Things!
You’ve probably heard the statistic that children who are read to are exposed to over a million more words than children who are not read to regularly. A member of Ohio State's Crane Center for Early Childhood Research and Policy is quoted as saying, "Kids who hear more vocabulary words are going to be better prepared to see those words in print when they enter school. They are likely to pick up reading skills more quickly and easily." I know you don’t have much time and neither do I so, I am going to give you 3 strategies of things to STOP doing, so you have more time to read to your child. It's time to get ready for kindergarten.
